Wolves are having a tough season. They are currently at the 20th place. In the first 10 games of the season, they are yet to register a win.
Also, they have conceded 22 goals, most by any Premier League side this season. Furthermore, they have scored seven goals in the league, which is the joint lowest along with Nottingham Forest.
No wonder both these two teams are currently at the bottom of the table. Forest changed their manager twice this season.
And now, Wolves have done the same. They have parted ways with Vitor Pereira. The Portuguese was linked with a move away from Molineux this summer.
The high-profile sales Wolves have done this season was against his wish. However, he remained at the club and he knew what was coming.
Even after falling out with the fans after losing to Burnley, it was just a matter of time when Wolves would sack him.

And, when his team finally lost to Fulham at Craven Cottage, the writings were on the wall for Pereira. Wolves sacked him and are now on the lookout for a new manager.
Several high-profile names are getting mentioned for the job. However, one name will surely raise eyebrows of the fans.
Yes, according to talkSPORT, Sam Allardyce is also a candidate now to become the next manager of the Wolves. They want to sign the 71-year-old.
Also, there are names like Erik ten Hag and Brendan Rodgers in the mix. However, the report is not ruling out a sensational return for Sam Allardyce in English top-flight football.
The last time Allardyce was managing Leeds United in the Premier League. It was that season when they faced relegation and also sacked Marcelo Bielsa.
So, Wolves will be cautious before making such a decision on hiring Sam Allardyce as they have more suitable candidates such as Erik ten Hag and Brendan Rodgers.
