Manchester United could move for Tottenham Hotspur attacker Dejan Kulusevski

Dejan Kulusevski to Manchester United

Manchester United could reportedly attempt to sign Tottenham Hotspur attacker Dejan Kulusevski during the upcoming summer transfer window.

According to The Mirror, the Sweden international could become a target if Tottenham are relegated from the Premier League. Manchester United are said to admire the forward and are considering strengthening their attacking options ahead of next season.

Kulusevski is capable of operating in several forward positions, which could make him an attractive option as Manchester United look to add a left-sided attacker to their squad.

Tottenham facing relegation battle in difficult Premier League season

Tottenham Hotspur have experienced a difficult domestic campaign and currently sit 16th in the Premier League table.

The North London club are only one point above the relegation zone and remain in real danger of dropping down to the Championship for the 2026–27 season.

Tottenham have lost each of their last five Premier League matches and have not recorded a league victory since the end of December.

Their next league fixture will be an away match against Liverpool on March 15. The match will take place between Tottenham’s two Champions League last-16 fixtures against Atletico Madrid.

Dejan Kulusevski absence due to injury has impacted Tottenham

Kulusevski has not made a single appearance for Tottenham this season due to a knee injury.

The 25-year-old has therefore been unavailable during a challenging period for the club.

During the previous season, the Sweden international recorded 10 goals and 11 assists in 50 appearances across all competitions. His overall record for Tottenham stands at 25 goals and 30 assists in 146 matches.

Tottenham players attracting interest amid uncertain future

There could be several departures from Tottenham this summer if the club are relegated from the Premier League.

Kulusevski is expected to attract interest if he becomes available, and Manchester United are reportedly monitoring his situation.

Other Tottenham players are also attracting attention from clubs. Both Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero are believed to have admirers and could have multiple suitors.

Tottenham relegation would have major consequences for squad

Relegation from the Premier League would represent a major setback for Tottenham Hotspur.

The situation has created uncertainty around the futures of several first-team players.

However, James Maddison’s extended period on the sidelines could potentially influence decisions this summer, with the playmaker possibly choosing to remain at the club even if Tottenham drop into the Championship.
